PRAYER FOR FINANCES

e-mail: vanderwattlouisa@yahoo.com
Scripture for today: Ephesians 4 verse 5 - There is one Lord, one faith & one baptism.

No matter what your religion is we all have finance problems one time or other, some more times than others.
One good thing is we all believe in a God. I am not saying anything about anybody's religion.
We all pray to our God, but I know that my God is a LIVING GOD.

I would like to share a testimony with anybody who might be reading this. On the 6 & 7 June (this month) we went to visit my husbands' brother and sisters and their families in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was a family issue that needed sorting out. I don't know if anybody is familiar with Johannesburg, but there are a lot of big advertising boards up along the road. We were on our way back to the airport and I was complaining to God in my mind, about the expenses which we could not afford. I am the type of person that is very impatient. I was praying in my mind and asking God to give me a sign, to show that he was listening to me (doubing God as well). As we came over a rise in the road there was a big a black advertisement board and all that was written on it was Psalm 23.

This is from the Youth Bible: 1. The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. 2. He lets me rest in green pastures. He leads me to calm water. 3. He gives me new strength. He leads me on paths that are right for the good of his name. 4. Even if I walk through a very dark valley, I will not be afraid, because you are with me. Your rod and your walking stick comfort me. 5. You prepare a meal for me in front of my enemies. You pour oil on my head; you fill my cup to overflowing. 6. Surely your goodness and love will be with me all my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
*walking stick - The stick a shepherd uses to guide and protect his sheep.
*pour oil...head - This can mean that God gave him great wealth and blessed him.

I would like to mention the following people in prayer:
Bee Bee & family
Devi & family
Doreen, Precious & family
Edith & son
Hennie & Amanda v d Watt & family
Joan, her dad, Leon & Kim Wilken & Leon's sisters

Rachel, Stevie & Justin
Saartjie, Ben & family (Groenewald)
And all the Apostolic Faith Mission Congregation, Pastors & their families, Hillary, Durban, South Africa.

I think that we are all in need of financial prayer. Let us go down on our knees and pray.
NAMING IT AND CLAIMING IT IN THE WONDERFUL NAME OF JESUS.
THE LORD BLESS YOU ONE AND ALL.

We as a family (Lourens, Louisa, Shaun & Samantha van der Watt) need a desperate financial intervention. I naming it and claiming it in the name of the Lord that the money will be paid into our bank account tomorrow (01/07/09) and not on the 15/07/09. God please give me a sign that you are listening. Amen.

OPEN DOORS - CHRISTIANS GOING INTO MUSLIM COUNTRIES

Last night (28/06/09) we had someone from Open Doors at our church - Apostolic Faith Mission, Hillary, Durban, South Africa.
They take bibles and preach in Bangladesh/Bhutan/Indonesia/Maldives/Myanmar/SriLanka/SouthPhillippines/Vietnam/Uganda,
Kenya/Comoros/Colombia/Arabian Pensinsula/Israel/Iran & Algeria.
They have a newsbrief which is sent free of charge.
There are a 100 million christians going through daily trials wanting to know Christ and they need our prayers plus contributions to purchase bibles. Even if we cannot contribute financially (I am unable to contribue financially) we can still pray for these missionaries that God will undertake for them.
