SAVOURY TARTS

SAVOURY TART:
Pastry:
1 cup flour
2 tsps. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup milk
Sift dry ingredients
together. Rub in
butter. Add milk.
Mix to a soft dough.
Roll out and line
a 9" pie dish.
Filling: 1 cup chopped
bacon (cooked in a
little water)
1 cup cheese
2 beaten eggs
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
Mix all together, pour
into pie shell. Bake
at 300 - 400 deg. F

(160 - 200 deg. C)

HAM AND CHEESE TART

(CRUSTLESS)

250 g. Bacon

250 g. Strong Cheese

2 Cups Milk

4 Eggs

1 tsp. mustard

2 tablespoons

grated onion

2 tsps. chopped

parsley

2 tablespoons flour.

MIX ALL INGRE-

DIENTS WELL.

POUR INTO WELL

GREASED SQUARE

DISH AND BAKE

TILL LIGHT BROWN

AND SET.

YOU MAY BE ON THE

RIGHT TRACK, BUT IF

YOU JUST SIT THERE,

YOU'LL BE RUN OVER.
